Raman Kumar is a well-known figure in the film and television industry, having been involved in numerous successful productions over the course of his four-decade career. From the ground-breaking plot of 'Saath Saath' to the lighthearted comedy of 'Raja Bhaiya,' and from the modern and ahead-of-its-time TV show 'Taara' to the heartfelt journey of an orphan young girl in 'Miilee,' Raman Kumar has left an indelible mark on Indian entertainment.
Raman Kumar once remarked, "Ankush, I see my reflection in you. I see the same hunger and dedication, yet a deep sense of perspective when looking at the world. Keep being that way." His words have stayed with me, and I am grateful for his guidance and mentorship. Raman Kumar's impact on the industry is undeniable, and I am honored to have had the opportunity to learn from him.

Karuna Smatani is a highly regarded personality in the media and entertainment industry, known for her pioneering work in India's private television sector. As President of Programming at Zee Entertainment and later as COO of Sahara One, she was responsible for producing ground-breaking shows like Antakshari, Amaanat, and Aap ki Adalat. Karuna also introduced the first interactive live television show on national television with Dial One aur Jeeto on Sahara One.

I had the privilege of working with Karuna as an Assistant Director and graphics operator on her first show. Despite my junior position, she saw potential in me and within a few months, I was working alongside her as a content programmer at an advertising company where she served as a consultant. Karuna was a motherly figure to me, and I learned a great deal from her during our time together.

Karuna's contributions to the industry have been immense, and her innovative approach to television programming has set a high bar for others to follow. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her and for the invaluable lessons and mentorship she provided me.

Abhishek Dudhaiya, known for his work as a television director and more recently for his film 'Bhuj - The Pride of India', started his career as an Assistant Director and worked his way up in the industry. I had the privilege of working closely with Abhishek on multiple projects, and he was often referred to as a 'jugaad specialist' due to his ability to find creative solutions to problems. Despite having no academic background and limited English proficiency, he managed to establish himself in the industry.

Abhishek considered me his right-hand person, and I was involved in all his meetings and collaborative work. Working with him was a great learning experience, and I was inspired by his creativity and perseverance. Abhishek's journey in the industry is a testament to his hard work and dedication, and I am proud to have been a part of his team.
